Really, really important stuff, so please read before ordering
Payment: **All cookie orders must be paid in full in order to be confirmed and officially placed on the cookie calendar.** Once payment is received, your date is confirmed. Until payment is received, reservation of the proposed date is not guaranteed. Priority is given to the paying customer. If the invoice is not paid within 72 hours of receipt, your date may be released. If your invoice is cancelled before payment is received, it is because the date has been released, and a paying customer has booked.
**In a hurry? While I can't accommodate all last minute orders, I will make my best effort to do so. Orders placed with a turnaround time of under 10 days will require a rush fee of $50.
Refunds: Refunds may be issued for cancellation requests submitted at least 21 days prior to the agreed upon pick-up date. Cancellation requests submitted less than 21 days prior to the agreed upon pick up date will incur a 20% cancellation fee to protect against the loss of potential business and capital expenditure. Cancellation requests submitted within 14 days of pick-up date are non-refundable due to my production timeline. [At this point in the process, supplies, design time, planning, and ingredients have already been spent on your order.]

Allergies? Baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens. My cookies are made in a home kitchen not inspected by New York State. My kitchen is not nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free, or gluten-free. Boring disclaimer, but I do not take anyone's health lightly!
Pricing: All pricing is subject to change. My prices are directly affected by ingredient cost. My goal is to provide the best tasting product for you. This means that I cannot always honor my old pricing (because, unfortunately, the grocery store won’t, either).
Pickup Dates and Times: Pick up times are set 1 week prior to the pick-up date. The pick-up will be at a public, mutually agreed upon location and time. Communication will be made the day of pick-up to reconfirm pick-up directions.
No show = no cookies: These cookies are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up to the agreed upon pick-up time without giving notice forfeits your order. Rescheduling is possible, but doing so within 24 hours of the original time will result in a $10 rescheduling fee. But take heart if you don’t contact me - the cookies will get a wonderful new home.

Inspiration: I love inspiration! However, it is just that - inspiration. I cannot exactly replicate another artist’s work. Pictures are worth a thousand words, but they're not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you end up with. Also - cookies in photos may not be true to size! (which is a bummer, I'd frankly love to eat an 8.5x11 inch cookie), I will do my best to keep it as close as I can, with my own style added to it.
Copycats: Copyrighted images (think sports teams, Star Wars, Disney and any of those shows your little ones love to watch) are protected, so I won't be able to replicate them in baked goods (who wants cookie controversy, right?). I CAN make a similar color palette though - so let's talk!
Change Cutoff: Decisions are tough! But I’m here to help. Order changes can be made until 14 days before the pick up date. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.
Product Photography: I take pictures of my product... a lot of them. If you do not want your cookies photographed, let me know when placing your order!
Cookie Care: All sales are final once cookies have been received by the customer or person designated by the customer to receive the order. What happens to your cookies after you pick them up is on you. Drive with care and keep them out of direct sunlight - a cool, darkened counter once you get them home is best. They will last up to two weeks in their heat-sealed bags.
Weather Clause: You know the saying, “It’s Upstate New York - If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes.” Inclement weather can happen, and always when we don't want it. If pickup is impossible due to whatever Mother Nature is currently throwing at us, your order will be preserved for a later pickup date. Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered due to weather (darn snow/rain/sleet/whatever happens today), but I will make sure your order is kept as fresh as possible!
